My interest in city life drove me to research; the effect MS has on mobility, in a city. I did a series of interviews with the community. The line “Living in a city in a wheelchair, you often come across barrier other people don’t see”, stayed with me. I drew City of Barriers as a result - a landscape where at first you don’t see obstacles faced by those in a wheelchair, but closer inspection reveals they are everywhere.
